In joining the NeuLife team, Dr. Pineless states, “I endorse specialized rehabilitation for individuals with TBI (traumatic brain injury) and multiple trauma, particularly in the post-acute setting. NeuLife clients are experiencing results that tell a positive, important story. What I have personally observed proves the critical nature of appropriate post-acute rehabilitation. The level of care provided at NeuLife is superior. I am excited to be a part of the NeuLife team and of this incredible story as it continues to be written.”
Dr. Pineless is on staff at Orlando Health South Seminole Hospital. He is a former Chief of Staff of Florida Hospital East Orlando, and past member of the Florida Hospital Board of Trustees. Kester Nedd, D.O., board certified neurologist and medical director of the Neuro Rehab Program at Jackson Memorial Hospital, Miami, FL, states, “There is an unmet need in the field of specialized residential post-acute programs for individuals who have sustained catastrophic injuries including TBI (traumatic brain injury), SCI (spinal cord injury), amputations and multiple trauma. NeuLife is responding to it with an environment conducive to healing and recovering. This spells good news for the post-acute rehabilitation community and the individuals NeuLife serves.”

He completed his neurology residency at the VA Hines Hospital, Hines, IL, and at Loyola University Medical Center, Maywood, IL, from 1982 to 1985. She has worked with him on numerous cases during that time and applauds his vast knowledge of and attention to the care rendered to his patients, as well as cost containment and claims resolution on workers’ compensation claims. Ms. Check further cites that 2.4 million people sustain a traumatic brain injury (TBI) in the United States each year and according to the U.S. Department of Labor Bureau, on-the-job injuries account for a large portion of that statistic. “At NeuLife, we emphasize a seamless and timely transition from acute care to specialized post-acute rehabilitation to help transition people with TBI and multiple trauma to the highest level of independence possible,” Ms. Check states.
