Our Residential Environment

NeuLife is a beautiful 60,000 square foot facility situated on a hill on 43 acres in Mount Dora, Florida. Every area within our facility and grounds is a teaching environment and has been therapeutically designed to enhance functioning, encourage wellness and independence, and promote appropriate interactions and social skills.

NeuLife is the only facility of its kind in Florida that offers private accommodations to every client. All rooms, suites, and one bedroom apartments have large bathrooms and large closets. Our family gathering rooms can be reserved in advance so our clients and their families can spend time together privately during visits, another exclusive benefit.

Our fully accessible facility has a game room with ping-pong and pool tables, a large exercise room, a lounge-like beverage and snack shop with karaoke, several Wii areas, a non-denominational chapel, surround-sound theatre, volleyball area, tetherball, a basketball court, stallions and miniature horses, nature trails and more.

Therapy, Recreational, Ancillary Services and Community Integration

Our rooms designated for professional therapy services – including physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech language therapy, and neuromuscular therapy – are large and bright and contain equipment recommended by our physiatrist and members of our multidisciplinary team. The Mount Dora community, along with those communities in Lake County and adjacent Orange County, offers a number of opportunities for community integration, outings, job training, volunteering, as well as recreation.
